gazandjen 54 Posted July 24, 2010 Report Share Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) Here we have my wifes Audi A6 2.5 TDI 6 speed manual.1999 S reg The car comes with full stamped Audi service history up to 102398 miles. The milage now readds 117500. We have just sent the car in to our local (garage)mechanic, who has looked after all our cars for the last few years, to have a new alternator fitted, door lock replaced and a service to be done (change oil and filters) all at a very high cost of approximately £600. The car had a new turbo fitted approximately 6 months ago and cambelt was done at 78340 miles. The car does also come with a towbar fitted. The car has a very slight problem with a sticky drivers window and the knob is missing for the electric mirrors. I think the two rear doors have had some light rust removed and then resprayed. It appears very slightly darker but hardly noticeable. There is a small dink on the boot. Other than that a lovely car to drive, with loads of history, mot and tax. It has fabric interior with no rips and all electrics with a fantastic audi sound system. The car is currently at the garage having the alternator replaced and will need to go back in about 10 days to have the new door lock fitted as well. This is a lovely family car for very reasonible money. We are only selling as we are going to purchase an estate or a 4x4 (undecided as of yet.) We will consider a px plus cash. This car does about 50 mpg and is the very sought after 6 speed manual model. High milage ones go for £500 more than what I'm asking. Link to post Share on other sites
