pitfurness 2
Got my dog in the derbyshire bullx finals next month. I'm hoping he does well but i think there's alot of stigma about white dogs still, what do you lot reckon? could a white dog do aswell as a black?? this pic was took over a yr ago and he's looking much better now. in my opinion it should be about what the dog can do, not what he looks like after, if you know what i mean? stabba 10,745
If your dog is a genuine working dog then it will be judged accordingly....regardless of colour..atb stabba...just to add a show should be treated for what it is..a bit of fun.. Quote Link to post

lucky 578
the trouble with shows is too many people expect to win... the judge can only pick what he or she prefers and they can't tell how good a worker it is just by looking at the dog in a show ring, i've also noticed a lot of people complaining about the judges choice because the said dog is'nt "scarred up" ???? for a dog to be classed as a working dog it only has to work not carry scars..... CorkyJohn 808
Lucky changed the show scene for bullx's, he's the man who put the bullx class on the map & changed the way folk looked at bullx's. They don't call him The Showpony for nothing Quote Link to post

lucky 578
i've learnt a technique when it comes to winning shows, i like to call it "paying the judge", sometimes the judges need a little further persuation this i like to call "bribery", works a treat for me....... p.s the judge had no idea that these 3 dogs picked for the final were all from the same team.....
