Toka 10
Well just thought i'd post this up to see who can be bothered to waste as much of their collection teams time. We just had a lovely girl call wanting to ask for donations....she never asked up front or noticed the working gear in the boot of the car next to our door, and she seemed a bit clueless about the working side of animal pest control. Intorduced her to the Plummer Terrier, history politics etc... The history of the grey squirrel and grey and brown rat... The recently highlighted issue of the red fox and problems arising from townies feeding foxes, i explained that i had had a number of calls to help get rid of problem foxes since this incident. She saw Bill and noticed the hole in his head [a disagreement with our Akita yesterday as he, in a senile moment, got het up at the oncoming lightening] and was fully appraised of the vets advice etc. She hadn't a clue about the problems with rats/rabbits and farms or food production. She hadn't a clue of any issues realting to deer management or the problems deer can cause. The Hunting Act...what was that, and she told me she liked to see the hunts out and about [which was refreshing] anyway after thrashing that out for a while i let her down gently and told her that we wouldn't be sponsoring/donating due to the change in RSPCA politics etc over the past few years! We said goodbye and she went on her way, hopefully a bit better informed! The wife said it was 25 minutes...can anyone be bothered to try to beat that? [lucky i am off work with a lurgy....hope she doesn't catch it...lol] atb
