Just a pic of our ferret cabin. This is where i keep the ferret group, though i do have a right anti social b'stard albino hob who lives separately to the rest.

I didn't give a lot for the actual cabin and run. I bought it off a cat breeder who was retiring....we had to dismantle it though.

Cat breeders [ at least big scale kitten producers ] generally keep stud cats outdoors because they pong, and they often have so many queens that they have to be kept outdoors too. So these cabins with mesh runs are sorta standard issue.

 

When we got it though, it was only single skin so hubby did a lot of work on it inside; lining it with insulation wool and marine ply. Building nest boxes, platforms, and hammocks etc.

 

The best place to look for stuff like this is Preloved/VivaStreet/Gumtree etc....bang up a wanted ad and see what turns up

They sorta rattle round like pea's in a drum Mind you, even with all that space, i like to have them indoors every day for a mad hour.
