gav22 24
you have to get a gunsafe to store it in you shouldn have any problem getting a licence as long as you have no criminal record Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
James, Where are you Southern or Northern Ireland? Laws are totally different regarding Airguns Phantom Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Southern Ireland: This seems a good read starting at post three (3) http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=204324 Northern Ireland: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2004/04em0702.htm Now what I find interesting in that document is it states that a Great Britain Resident may hold an airgun without a permit! Are people in Northern Ireland not citizens of Great Britain? Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Here is a link to the FAC application for you http://www.garda.ie/Documents/User/fca1%20firearm%20certificate%20application%5B2%5D.pdf Lots of details to be filled in there I'm afraid, but not to bad really Phantom Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
I seem to remember reading that airguns are not an acceptable hunting weapon in NI. Quote Link to post
marlin vs 7
As far as I know you are not allowed kill anything with an airgun in the south of Ireland and the licence cost's € for 3 years if you only have one gun you only need to have a trigger lock. Quote Link to post
