i am thinking of buying a new springer, its came down to. tx200, prosport, hw97k or a hw98, what do you think is best and does anybody know the weights. and is the 98 just a tarted up 95 as i already own one. cheers lucan

i use to own a AATX200HC a fantastic springer but a tad heavy! with out a sling.

cant comment on the others but si (zini)has a nice HW97KT

Out of what you've said, I'd go for the TX or the 97. Very little to split them both first class, if rather on the weighty side.. The Pro Sport's a class act too.

 

You're right about the 98, it's not much more than a 95 in a party frock, pretty much all the mechanics are the same.

 

Take a look at the HW90 too. Very under-rated.

hi davy how you doing, not seen anything of Spike but have not been shooting since last year as I have been helping set up more outdoor pig breeding units which has left me with no spare time until now. Do you know if the HW97 is heavier than the TX as I am going to go and try the TX tomorrow that my cousin owns to see what it fits like.
