We've had a good bit on and off the last few days.

Positive note: saves me running in and out of the house with a watering can to keep the potatoes and pumpkins and green beans happy, thanks to the bloody hosepipe ban. Also the ground isn't so hard for the dogs' feet.

Negative note: Twas fine most of today but the heavens have just opened right when I need to leave to fetch the sprogs from school :censored:

had a few showers the last few days , but today its comming down by the bucket load , ive just been out to lift the man hole cover in the back garden as the water was 2 inch of comming in me kitchen door:icon_eek:

only good thing is the grounds softer so me and the hounds are off for a walk :D :D

The rain has been positively biblical round here. My hanging baskets and window boxes were looking fantastic up to last week but they've had so much water on them since, they're just rotting into slime now. The chickens have been wet through for a week solid and they're starting to look suicidal. Even the dog doesn't wanna go a walk.

I got up at five this morning and opened the curtains to bright sunshine, but by the time i'd had me breakfast, it'd started raining again

Had about a week of rain since the hosepipe ban. Quite a bit of flooding yesterday evening. Kudos to the woman in a black punto for demonstrating the flood water in one lane on the way home was too deep to drive through. :boogie:
