i allways believe its down to the terrier but ive read a few books by so called terrier men that they have methods of entering to getting a hard terrier or a good bayer.anyone else beleive this.

A young terrier can be influenced to a certain point by the older dogs he hunts with/learns from.

No they shouldn't because at no stage should a terrier be underground with another terrier, so how can a terrier learn from another.

Everything a terrier does under ground wether it's finding, mixing, baying (or baiting as it used to be called) or running out with it's tail between it's legs is all down to one thing. It's breeding.

Now wether this terrier decides to stay working in it's style or quits is often where the owner has an influence.
