One piece mounts

Ever since i got my new scope at the begginning of the summer ive had a recurring accuracy problem at times you could get 1 hole groups then all of a sudden you would get golf ball sized groups so for a while i just thought it was the plank behind the trigger until this morning i changed the one piece scope mount that came with the scope for a cheap pair of smk mounts and the problem has gone away i figured it out to be that the clamp that fits onto the guns scope rail was not straight causing it to move everytime it was put in the case so my reccomendation is stay away from one piece mounts

Sounds like you've been unlucky and got a duff mount 'cos normaly a one peice mount clamps really well. Not such an issue on a pre-charge but can be useful on a springer...

I had a sportsmatch dampa on my HW80 and it was a great piece of kit, tbh some of the cheaper mounts are pretty crap though - you pays your money and all that.

Glad you sorted it out and your shooting spot on again.
