zini 1,939 Posted July 19, 2010 Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 Hi lads, Just a quick post to show you my new toys that i got this weekend when down at Gurtwurzs end . Its a new Air Arms S400 in .177 calibre. Shes going to be my dedicated lamping rifle from now on with her nice and forgiving trajectory due my crap range estimation at night . After watching the master himself last week (DavyT63) with his .177 AA S410 at night, i thought i have got to get one for lamping, as the hold over on x6 is just so little as ive found out. My new rifle on x6 only requires 2 mil dots hold over from a 30 metre zero at 60 metres and only .5 of a mil dot at 40 metres . She is doing 11.21 FP with AA Fields and she is producing 1 hole groups with 3 pellet strings at a lased 45 metres so im really happy with that. Due to this accuracy i think i could quite happily take vermin with her at the same ranges as i can with my R10 Ive also bought a new camera mount that fits nicely on my scope so i dont always have to carry the tripod with me every where . She has already been Christened yesterday on a 54 metre squizzer from my room window. The squizzer was hit straight in the head. Si Quote Link to post
