Spike01 0
Well out again today with the wires and traps. First place is a nice rough field with quite a lot of rabbit damage. There can’t be a lot of good grass left for the horses that graze it. I have got 40 peg snares out and 14 fence wires. I hope it’s a good haul as I have just picked up this farm and need to get the rabbit numbers down quick. There is going to be plenty more snaring to do there and a good bit of ferreting. The second place to day is another horse paddock but as the ponies were only taken out yesterday, after 3 weeks of telling the owner to move them if he wants the job done, it had to be out with the magnums. I have 18 of these out, set in the brambles that surround the field, so I might pick up a few while the field recovers. Then I can get some wires out. Will keep you all posted. Oh and the owner of the first farm also took a rat contract with me so all in all not a bad day. Cheers Spike Quote Link to post

Spike01 0
Not to bad. Will be picking them up tomorrow. Sunday night was not as good as expected. By the time I had seen the rest of the farm, with the client, it was starting to get on so I think there may have been some sent left on the wires from my hands. Last night was much better although the foxes and badgers had most of them away. Not to worry. Cheers Spike Quote Link to post

Those who Really know the craic, and are willing to share it with others, can now inform, instruct and educate f*ckin Thousands of us, from the comfort of their own living rooms! Then we can all compare notes the same way. 'God bless the f*ckin Inter Net!' That's what I say! Keep us updated, mate! Quote Link to post
