Treacle Trackpad 6
I was sat in a highseat this morning and a barn owl came and sat on my moderator! We stared at each other for about 2-3 mins before I tried to get a pic with my phone but he was having none of it. So no phot but just thought I'd share cos it was one of those amazing wildlife moments . Nothing but does from the seat so wandered off and stalked into another couple of does, one with a single kid, before finally finding a yearling buck. I managed to blow a shoulder which I was very disappointed about but these things happen to the best of us at times. He dropped on the spot and I still got some mince out of it . A funny little head which is currently bleaching and a nice summer coat which will be getting the diesel treatment tomorrow A cracking bit of stalking after sitting in a seat last night facing west and watching the sun set, and east this morning watching it rise, owl, and a buck in the freezer. Treacle Trackpad 6
And here he is on the garage wall waiting to go to work with me on Monday to decorate the office. I knock the shields up out of a bit of old pine and stain them. He's got quite a murder point on the right side... Quote Link to post
