I am disgusted someone would give up on a pup that is supposed to spend the rest of it's life grafting for you. It is f*****g shamefull. Guest bezza Posted July 17, 2010 Report Share Posted July 17, 2010 IMO shredded paper can encourage pups to soil their bed. I reckon there's a smell from it which may encourage soiling. Try a carpet piece or heavy blanket instead. I've got a whippet bitch, two years old which only ever soiled her puppy crate when I used newspaper. Changing the bedding worked for her.Give it a try but don't be disheartened if your pup doesn't become clean overnight. Keep trying. Eventually the pup will learn it's much more pleasant to soil away from the sleeping area. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
