poacher3161 1,766
we do our talking in the field pal. Same as hancock then we can prove to [NO TEXT TALK] what we do, by invitation only. what exactly is it that you do that makes your honest opinion count for shit? your always trying to pull people down, who's it going to be next? If pulling a puppy farmer down like hancock so be it if it stops only one person not buying one of him its job done 1 Quote Link to post
elpc69 0
what’s he done to you that makes you go on like a disgruntled ex girlfriend then, because puppy peddler excuse is running very thin and tiresome... Quote Link to post
Ashover rabbit dogs 76
i cant see whats wrong with hancock dogs iv got a 5 year old bitch, she has been passed around as being no good before she came to us but with the right handling she is turning out well she hunts day and night runs with the pack she's obediant i cant fault her. its not just hancock your pulling down tho is it? iv seen alot worse conditions than hancocks and he isnt the only puppy peddler around. imho you have the green eyed monster in you. but thats just my opinion. 1 Quote Link to post

wuyang 513
Ive had two good dogs off Hancock over the years and i do believe that most of his dogs in the right hands will make good rabbiting/mouching dogs, but i won't go back there again, more about principles than the quality of the finished product. Puppy farms are terrible places, its no life for a bitch that is constantly living in a confined area bringing up litter after litter and rarely getting to go outside never mind get exercised. My next puppy will be off somebody from the forum who has a good history of working dogs...makes sense really. Quote Link to post
johnny boy68 11,726
I've had a few Hancock dogs over the last 20 odd years,5 in total.3 were average,1 was a complete waste of time and 1 was exceptional on all pre-ban quarry. The bitch i run at the moment is from a hancock x hancock and i'm very happy with her, would i go to hancock for another .imo theres some exceptional collie x grey's out there and you've a much better chance of getting a worker from a worker x worker.Just like to add its not a done deal when you get a pup out of workers you still need to put the work into any dog........John Quote Link to post

poacher3161 1,766
NOTHING at all wrong with hancock dogs seen some very good ones its his method of churning pups out just for money that dosent sit right with me and most other genuine dog men. Quote Link to post

Hancock breeds huge numbers of pups each year and with large numbers being bred there is bound to be some good dogs come through, my problem is the dogs are a business pure and simple and to me thats wrong, I have seen a couple of Hancock bred lurchers work and they were ok and I have been to the kennels and wouldn't buy a dog thats parents were only taken out of a kennel or off a chain to mate. I wouldn't breed off an untested dog as it reduces the chance of getting a working dog and whether its Kennel Club Pommerabnians going for £800 or lurchers going for £200, peddling is peddling............ elpc69 0
Thats great that you have your opinions and Im sure most people agree with you, but at the end of the day its a discussion about the dogs from Hancock and you dominate with a few supporters and there one liners, bitching about the breeder quoting adverts from the 80s and how you've seen the truth from the start shite and dropping in Plummers name, you come across like a jealous mard arse. {Mard-Arse - A person that relishes in expressing his/her discomfort vocally (or whinges) at all times.) Youre not going to close him down disrupting Hancock topics with your band of merry whatevers licking behind you (you know who you are cause your already thinking of a reply!) your just ruining the discussion in hand you most likely pushing people to him to get the truth for themselves, pop down, see not everything you say about him and his dogs is true, forget he's a peddler and hey presto Hancocks got another sale and a new flat cap! you clever man you! You should get out hunting or join a anti hunt group!! Quote Link to post

elpc69 0
Now that post really shown how childish you are, I bought one as I couldn't find anyone reputable elsewhere and knew no different and I haven't said I support him or his business, but I don’t bitch like an old dear, oh and Plummer again?
