hancock dogs

Recommended Posts

Anyone who finds Hancocks (or rather sally's) methods of breeding and rearing pups for commercial sale acceptable, needs to take a long look in the mirror. There is absolutely no advantage to buying from him other than it's easy to get his number from cmw and he always has pups. If you respect dogs and the running dog world you would not support him.

As for slagging off Del - he knows more about working and respecting dogs than most of the idiots on here, so wind your neck in.

For a couple of guys that don't like the mans dogs you don't half bang on about them. Your pretty opinionated when it comes to Hancock...how many dogs you had of him?..And you don't come across as cockish just arrogant...who are you to tell anyone where and how to spend their money?...concentrate on your own dogs and gi yourself peace.

Fair enough buddy, it's not about what the dogs can or can't do or how good some of them end up. Never once did i say they were bad dogs. I've never bought a dog off him but i have been to his kennels to look and what i saw really bothered me. It's not what they are, it's how they are produced. I find it really hard to understand that others can go there and not be at all phased by what they see? And your right - each to their own. I really can come across like an arrogant b*****d sometimes, but be that as it may i'm at peace with how i keep and treat my animals

As am I...I'm not here to defend Hancock he's been in this business for a long time and has probably heard it all before. I first went to Hancock about 15yrs ago as I wanted a genuine 3/4 x. He was the only person that could guarantee the x was what he claimed it was. There was no sales pitch no pressure to buy. As for socialisation all the pups I seen were in tip top condition and well adjusted normal pups. Would I go back...prob not but I've had 3 of him and been more than happy. These dogs will prob be the last I'll have the dog game is to dodgy these days

I think it used to be quite different - from what i hear. Know a lot of folk who went years ago and they say although a puppy farm, he was still out with his dogs etc. Now since his health has declined he has passed the business over to sally and things have changed. Your right the dog game is pretty dodgy. . .
