Guest Arsenal F.C
Why call them hancock dogs their collie hybred lurchers that any body whos been around lurchers knows the cross can make a good versatile lurcher in the right hands just because a puppy pedlar decided to latch on to this cross i dont think it gives him the right imho to atach his name to this type of lurcher even though he has bred it. poacher i love how much of a dickhead you are , all the negativity you bring is fantastic Quote Link to post

otter 61
does any one run hancock dogs on here just wondering if they are any good ? i once owned a first x blue merle from hancocks ...... it's not in my kennels anymore ... not my kind of dog . definatley better dogs to be found than going to hancocks Quote Link to post
snap 15
not a fan of hancock and his methods myself and have seen some lets say not so good dogs from his kennels lol. if i wanted a dog of this type i would be seeing people like undisputed and his buddies who actually work them for a pup. elpc69 0
I've met Hancock a few times, he's a nice guy will talk a glass eye to sleep about his dogs and never once tried pushing a sale, if your interested in one of his dogs and ask about the linage he will start again with a 2 hour talk, including picture's - He said he never takes dogs back thou but will give as much advice as needed, so as he said "spend as long as you want picking the right dog as it will be with you for possibly the next 12 years" first visit I was there 4 hours going from kennel to kennel, book to book, picture after picture and back to his office for a talk and his advice was to leave it and come back when ready, he actually talked me out of a sale. I was slightly alarmed when shown the welping shed and sally was feeling a pups balls, but she assured me she was checking it was healthy. I've seen lots of posts about him people saying this and that, I just take them as they come across know-it-all idiots, who seem to have bee's in there bonnets about everything and anything and most likely repeating some other know-it-all idiots story.... They make the same comments about Plummer, I never met him to make comments about him just like some of the know-it-all idiots haven’t, his books are a good read but like any book including Hancock’s should be taken with a pinch of salt. Take advice from people who have been, seen and talked to Hancock, good and bad and make your own decision on visiting, see what he's got and ask him about his dogs and go from there, you can see him as a puppy peddler or full time breeder, he knows more about his dogs than any puppy peddler would, I see the idiots who breed their dogs from home every time there in season and sick them in the paper for £100 to £150 then £50 for the 12-14 week old runt left over, that’s usually "doing a bit" just as bad as Hancock, but then would make comments about Hancock thinking there morally better somehow.... Some idiot may reply sticking to their mates stories about him or just rant for the hell of it cause they got nothing better to do, and prove themselves to be a know-it-all-idiot! Quote Link to post
