Are beddy whippets any good for lamping [first crosses],had one years ago mad keen for work but a bit head strong.Lets hear your experinces with them ,good and bad.

most are to small n weak for a real hard night. i had a bed whippet x 26 incn sal grey type bitch i bred she only made 19 inch looked the spit of g.gs alfred regular take 10 to 15 lamped rabbits but its a job to find erm like that id say.

i use mine sometimes but more of a ferreting and bushing dog

beddy whippets are excellent lamping dogs if you get the right one they will take all the quarry you desire. ive had 20+ bags of rabbits regular with them foxes and even deer preban.

they are good little rabbit dogs on the lamp i had a couple in the past

They cant hold the big striker properly but they are better with the smaller blitz

 

spot on little dogs pure grafters, every one ive seen has done rabbits on the lamp very well but it depends what your after and the ground you run
