Here is a Pheasant Recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing, imagine that?when i found this recipe,i thought it was perfect for people like me,who just are not sure how to tell when a bird is cooked and not dried out. 4-5lb Bird,....1 Cup melted butter....1 cup of stuffing. ....1 cup of uncooked popcorn....salt/pepper to taste.... Preheat oven to 350 degrees, brush bird with melted butter, and salt/pepper,fill cavity of bird with stuffing mixed with popcorn, place in baking tray with the neck towards the back of oven, listen for the popping sound, when the bird,s arse blows off the oven door opens and the bird flies across the room and lands on the table, its done,enjoy.....L.O.L.
