COMPO 54
To clarify anyone can own normal shotgun cartridges (i.e. not solid slugs which are sec 1 ammo) but SG shot and everything smaller can be owned by anyone, but only bought by someone with a SGC, as such there is no requirement to lock them away like sec 1 ammo, but the FEO will want to see they are away in a draw or cupboard or such where the kids or a visitor couldn't see them (imagine you have a plumber or such who spies the cartridges, realises you must have a shooter and comes back to burgle you or tells someone else where a shotgun is stored?) Mine are stored in a bedroom cupboard and a bedroom draw 1 Quote Link to post

heritage 202
I think that (depending on quantity)a good method of storing shotgun cartridges is to employ the use of an old metal ex-army ammo box, with the addition of a hasp and staple it provides a cheap,secure,soloution...atb HERITAGE Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
I tend to buy 1000 at a time and used to keep them under the bed. Then one day I suddenly realised, if there was a fire or something and I didnt wake up, if they went off, id probably loose my legs!!! Now I keep them in a cupboard out of the way!!!
