some help

Hi there ive got a 8 week old collie grey pup she been doing a couple of retrieves a couple of times a day i do this in a side passage of my house its 4ft wide and a house lenth she does this no problem i tried her in the garden and she not realy interested she just runs away with the dummy the problem is ive no where to try her other than the garden should i just keep doing this in the passage until she had her injections then find some other places to practice retreive i no shes young but she does it perfect every time in the passage so wanted to move up a step

Bud you've loads and loads of time, give your head peace and dont worry bout it,,in saying that what are ya doing with the dummy when its retrieved,, if your taking it off her , she'll cop on sharp to hold on to it,,you need to make it worth her while to bring it back,,

mine still runs off now at 2year old, but always comes back with bunnys! if i go down on one knee strange but true :thumbs:

Not strange at all mate i always crouch or at least bend down to take the retrieve from the dog it makes u look less threatening and overpowering. look at it from the dogs point of view down on the ground people will look huge to them ive even had to lie down on the ground at times. make it all the most fun game it can be and reward the dog when it brings home the retrieve.
