Can you take a photo from directly above and another looking down at an angle And why do you think it's a trap ? Could it just be a bird or chinchilla cage ? Quote Link to post

Could it just be a bird or chinchilla cage ? yes it is a tunnel with a hole into the main cage as you say there is a peice of tin plate around the hole and the reason i thought it could be a trap or possibley a bait box was it came from a massively overgrown councle garden(brambles nettles 6 feet tall). romany52 313 Posted July 16, 2010 Report Share Posted July 16, 2010 (edited) It's a Chinchilla colony breeding cage, they connect together, the females in each cage wear a collar to to stop them getting out into the other cages, the male without a collar can visit the females at will via the corridor.
