Rain easing, temperatures rising

Throughout the week, the weather will remain changeable with the northwestern half of the UK experiencing a mixture of showers, longer spells of rain and some dry and brighter interludes.

 

Southeastern parts will be generally drier and warmer but occasional rain should not be ruled out here either. Breezy at times, especially in the north.

 

Temperatures throughout the period are likely to be around normal in the north, though feeling cool in rain, but warm in the south and perhaps becoming very warm in some southeastern areas for a time as the week goes on.

Well I guess its only 4 days now

 

You'll have to excuse my lack of enthusiasm today though I awoke to the news that a friend of mine over in New Orleans died last night of a blood clot that made its way to her Lungs

 

This happened after recently being allowed home after having surgery for Cerivcal Cancer.

 

Jan was not a hunter; but she was quite a shot when it came to pistols both cartridge, Air and Co2.

 

My heart and thoughts go out to Jim her husband, Holly and Nathanial her children.

 

Rest In Peace Jan McArthur

Its sinking in slowly, I've been in touch with her husband and children. Jan touched the lives of so many people both here in the UK and over in the States.

 

She was a collage teacher of English and taught thousands. Her favourite country was England and her real passion was Shakespeare.

 

She will be missed.
