Malt 379
If the water companies sorted all their leaks out there wouldn't be any need for fecking hosepipe bans.. I read a while back that Thames water alone loose the equivalent of an Olympic sized swimming pool every hour in their area due to fecked mains pipes. (May even have been every minute, can't quite remember ) Edited July 14, 2010 by maltenby

(May even have been every minute, can't quite remember ) Mal that's what annoys me as well we had water running down our road for over 24 hours from a man hole thing in the road ... i cant even imagine how much water was wasted before they bothered to see to the leak

PeakOil 352
United Utilities lose something like 470 million litres of water a day through leaks. How many new houses, flats and business premises have been built in the last 15 years? How many reservoirs have been built in the last 15 years in the North West?
