Our Greyhound / Beddy / Whippet is exactly the same, two patches on the outside of the back legs. We have tried different creams etc and taken him to the vets, where we just told it was the Greyhound breeding in him. It doesn't seem to bother him and he is a house dog, so plenty of bedding to lay on!

My lurcher had it, its the dermodetic mange mite, exact the samespot on both back legs, if you ignore it, could spread to bottom half of chest area etc. Duramitex I used, sponged it on ( i had the old mix it up type, i cant get it anymore) sorted.

Hope this helps
