Nice enough pup, shame the breeding lets it down

how has the breeding let it down?explain

A pup out of Tupac won our puppy championship just the other day, it was a well put together dog and second to none stamp wise. All the best with the sale and hope the dog finds a good home. I think what Corky was on about is that this stuff is more known for showing than working.

Got it in one Busterdog, %100 pure show lines from Stobbarts stuff. Loads of failures & even Middleton stuff these days are lacking. Cracking pup though, didn't think he'd be there long

just a note, ive seen both sire and dam worked many times and none of these dogs are lacking anything...maybe a few duff dogs outa these lines, but also a lot of real good dogs too...breed enough litters and its obvious that not every dog will make the grade there are too many variables eg owners, bringing up, starting techniques, even the dogs their housed with may all contribute to a spewer...truth is that a good dog is a good dog...and a bad one is just that...doesnt matter what lines their from...

A few duff dogs? Those lines throw plenty of shite & for a good few years have been bred with showing in mind. Whats worse is they keep breeding from them even if they jack. Go to any show in the north east & I'll bet most of the smart red lakeys there are bred from those lines

but somewhere between the shite, there were some good dogs that went to some good dog men...and they in turn only bred to the best workers...no show shite...and thus there are still good dogs about from middleton/stobbart matings...just harder to find as the true terriermen dont breed for money and dont part with dogs/pups to joe blogs...

Better to start again with decent breeding than waste your time with T-bags shite

You have obviously had a bad experience with them mate.??

Never owned one Linton, never would. Live in the locality of the mentioned breeder & know first hand what they have done/bred from. These fuckers have bred from/lied about the terriers they have & sold pups for silly money from unsuspecting buyers.

Just what i thought.

Well i have owned one or two and every one was a grafter, not a world beater but always got the job done.

I may just have been lucky with the ones i have had.Maybe not, who knows.

I also beleive you shouldnt knock other peoples dogs unless you have had first hand experience of them yourself. Yeah they would all be bred for the show job firstly but dont forget they all went back to Graham Wards stuff which definately was work first show second bred so anything given half a chance would probably want to work.

AS for silly prices, well if folk are daft enough to pay them!!!
