RMSD Your having a bloody laugh

Got myself of to the postie for it opening yesterday.So as to get my R10 of to Addi at amcustomairguns sharpish.

Was asked if i would like to send it parcel force for £14 odds,said no RMSD for £21.50.So as it gets thair for today before 1pm.What a bloody waist of time and extra money that was.Spoke to Addi & Mandy earlier.Gun has not turned up yet :

 

Thair tracking site says its still in the delivery system.

 

 

 

Even though parcel force are not ment to carry guns,and you are not covered by any insurance.It would probably be thair by now if i used them.

 

By 1pm tomorow i shall be thinking the worse.Some bloody postie has had it off with my gun

Probably worrying for nothing.The chap i bought the gun of.Sent it by standard parcels,it came the next day.Pot luck realy,dosint matter what you pay i suppose.

How do you go about claiming that mate.

there should be a phone number on the reciept you get when you sent it or go on the RM website www.royalmail.com and go from there.

quote the tracking number off the reciept,they check that it was late and within a week or two you'll recieve a cheque for the amount you paid.

Same happened to me when I sold my 97k and posted it to Wales. The kid had to collect it from the post office. I launched a claim explaining the contents of the package hence the reason for the special delivery and I was refunded £25.... The £21.50 got the delivery and £3.50 for my trouble...... Generous eh!!

 

Now when I use RMSD I always tell the post office my previous experience and have had no problems since

Called royal mail.Gun was refused for flight,probably because it is compressed air.Thats a first for me.Sent back to delivery office to go by road.Is in the Newark delivery office and should be going out this morning.Fingers crossed

You maybe right mate.I left 50bar in it.First buddy bottle gun i have had.Posted all the rest of my guns with the same in them.Old habbits die hard

Think compressed air is on thair restriction list,for flying

No harm in picking up a p58 form and chancing my luck,once the gun is delivered.
