In the real world it just aint so. In dairy cattle when you start gettin too close shit hits the fan. I know that she has a brother that will kill a coyote by himself but he will also kill another dog if he can get to one. Any breeding can be a bad thing. Complete outcrosses produce spooky shy pups. They produce broken tails, splayed feet, crooked jaws, inverted eyelids. You name it, it dont matter they can all go bad. All it takes is two recessive genes to line up and presto chango, you got some f****d up pups. Quote Link to post

I Too have seen sire over daughter regarding terriers, and the pups he kept where gooduns, suppose it could go either way. i've never done it with lurchers, but alot of good coursing stuff is linebred.
