whippet x grey or collie x grey

Recommended Posts

whippet grey would be loads faster but the colli grey will give you stamina and brains but sometimes colli crosses have too much brains which can be good and can be bad sometimes but whippet greys will give you a 100% every time it runs but they can run out of steam quick compare to the colli cross but they still very good dogs if i had a choice i would go for a whippet grey lyk because i lyk how they run and how keen they are atb Top Lamper

Don't worry about the breeding - people get too caught up with that shit. Find two dogs that excell at the jobs you want the pup to do and get a pup out of them, whatever the % it will do what it needs to if you do your part right.

i have a whipxgrey, not an everyday lurcher,i would go with the collie x,theres alot to take into consideration with whipx,if you have the time to work on stamina, ive always thought it best to walk your ground before you go as this type can be very prone to injury, but by f**k they can shift mate, very, very quick,to bloody quick at times, with a manic frame of mind once they see the quarry then its game on,hearts in your mouth, but as i say you have to pick your ground, good luck

had both and saw afew of both colie type every time whipet grew good dog, but feet skin , etc were suspect ,both have there places in the lurcher worlb but once the stubbles cut and say after a moth or to if its not soft with rain the collie type i would prefer for durability over a season or 5 full stop
