i know some lads keeping borders will have there working lines as good as any other breed, but 3 different lads i know of and this aint hear say charge top money for pups, of the 3 one works em to ground fact the other 2 i cant say,but there litters cost the same to rear as any other type so must generate more profit than say a litter of fells, think thats the problem within the breed, god bless the lads breeding from genuine workers.

im goin to jab mine, and make sure their all healthy, frontline is not cheap, and there is the worming to think about, i still cant justify £550 or £350 for that matter, im not going to register them, when i bought my first bitch she was £400 and registered, ive bred two litters from her and registered them and sold them for £350,4 of which went to working homes, and ive had good reports from the lads, 3 of which are local, which is nice.

I have a dog from L.J.'s Lines, he is as slow as they come, but I hope this season the penny drops. I had a fourteen month old Bitch that carried cubs out maybe one of the first times to ground. God willing I am happy to wait for the penny to drop. WW.

did you want him as a working dog ?

if so why did you go to LJ...

I work mine to everything I have a chance to. They do the business for me. They can be slow in coming forward but I put that down to a higher intelligence level then most terriers. :whistling:

i think they are different, seem to way up things, i like to watch them follow a line up the hedge, just like little hounds.
