shotgunny 39
Hi all just a quick question if I was to take shot pigeon wings and put them on full bodied decoys would the wings last or would they rot ??? Atb sg Quote Link to post
stubby 175
Ive done it with a magpie deek, so dont see why not, I wanted the wings spread out on a deek in the clutches of an owl deek, just stretched a set of maggies wings out on a board, and held in place with panel pins, keep in a warm shed and they dry out within a couple of weeks, last forever, dont let flies get on them though, as they will lay eggs where you cut wing, then maggots will eat away Quote Link to post
bigstu2008 9
would be intersted to see if this helps your decoying mate. stubby you never tried using a shot fox instead of the owl? works a treat Quote Link to post
