scothunter 12,609
he done time for common assualt on a child and was a bully but thought he was a hard man it was all in his head. When the full story comes out it will show he was a coward and a thug who threathen weoman and children. well common assault covers a fair bit, guess you could call it a misdeamenour if you were a yank.kicking a cheecky laddie up the arse is common assault.but hey you seem to have the heads up on him didnt know you knew him that well. you not get the papers in scotland or is it you cant read.he thought he was a local hero but more like a local prick the locals where scared of the asshole. If he was a real man why not use his fists and have a fair dig with the blokes he shot and then took the cowards way out because he could not face the conquecences of his actions. yea i get the papers but unlike you i dont take anything they report as gospel.round up a few people who didnt like him and hey presto you got the whole picture of him.im not that gullible as to believe wahts printed in a paper.its usually the opposite of what it making out.im not defending this guy or his actions.im only replying to what someone asked.its my opinion and like i said unless you actually knew the guy how can you be in a position to make assumptions on him.the guy was clearly f****d up to do what he did.as i said that bird charachter from cumbria well ive watched a few things on him since that horrendous day,and tbh i dont think i heard one person say a bad word about him.he was pretty well liked and helped folk out. i know what your saying but all whats said about him cant be lies any of his ex girls have said he was a control freak. As for defending him i dont think anyone of us could defend him or anyone for that kind of behaviour. it looks like depression set in and he got very down but someone close to him should have helped before he started to kill people. As for the 1s that helped him should get life as they are just as guilty as he is. glad you see my point and not arguing cause you like an good argument lol disagree about his mates getting life though.come on they rightly or wrongly helped out a mate.who wouldnt and even if you didnt wanna get involved you wouldnt stick him in to the law. scothunter 12,609
from what i gather they werent with him.he came staight out of jail and went to his gfs pals.think they helped him after the deed was done.like a few days later from what i gather.dont know the degree they helped him though.enjoy the footy and your cider lol

craigyboy 1,274
Now Raoul Moat is finally dead, Gazza can rest easily; Safe in the knowledge that he is once again the most mental person in Newcastle. A man walks into Rothbury police station and says, "I hear you're looking for a nutter from Newcastle, I wanna hand myself in, like." The desk sergeant looks up and says, "f**k off, Gazza." Gazza was never really mates with Raoul Moat. He just turned up because he heard that somebody was getting wasted and there might be some shots. If there's a lesson to be learnt from the whole Raoul Moat saga, it's that if you shoot your girlfriend Gazza will come round to your house.

jasper65 6
thats all we can do mate is think out loud.unless you actually knew him and even then i had a very good mate who was life soul of a party genuine easy going lad who was always happy and smiling.got a call from his mum one day he hung himself over a girl.i was like 17 at the time and still cant believe he did what he did that day.still see the girl aswell sometimes.not her fault although some did blame her.so who knows what goes on in some peoples head.f**k takes me to work out some the stuff in my head without anylising any c**t elses lol A friend of mine did exactly the same when we was 17, I went through school with this lad right up to the time we left moving onto the old Government Trainning schemes for our first jobs, we had the same Air Rifles skived school together as I'm sure we all did in the late 70 earley 's and had some great laughs...... the obviouse happend when he picked up some bird and we lost contact for a month or so until one saturday I saw him drinking alone in the local pub we all used to bundle in, the annoying thing is I had a bit of a go at him for not giving me a shout but all was fine by the end of the evening, he said bye as normal and off he went, the next morning for some reason he got up told his father he was going to visit his nan but decided to go the oposite way to the Subway! it was there is hanged himself ...... It was 0ctober 18th 1982 and I still remember it like yesterday. Its obviouse after our last conversation this girl had got into his head but who knows? was this what finally pushed him over the edge? or was there somthing finally building up to it that finally snapped?
