Ideation 8,216
There is a special dance to the gods but we won't tell you how to do it until you stick my hob 'crusher' down your pants? Quote Link to post
Bradford Lad 74
There is a special dance to the gods but we won't tell you how to do it until you stick my hob 'crusher' down your pants? I secured two fantastic spots for ferreting today, all i did was knock on the farm doors and ask the owners if they needed any free rabbit control on their land, nothing more than that mate. Just make sure your smartly dressed and polite, if they sound interested point out that you wont be ferreting until at least September and that if they need some thinning out now that you would be more than hapy to control the rabbits using an air rifle or other means until then. It can be quite daunting to approach landowners but you'l find most are freindly sorts who even if they dont give you any permission will be polite to you. Give it a go mate, nothing ventured and all that Let us know how it goes ATB Ian Quote Link to post
jac 12
Its real hard to get permission. I tried and tried ,I asked everyone but no joy. I just take the dog up the woods and let her get me my dinner now. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Once you have some - more follows. I am now lucky enough to have 1000's of acres of good land, most of which i don't share. Funnily enough no one has ever said no. . . . . . Quote Link to post
The one 8,493
Get out there smartly dressed and knock on doors and once you get your first bit kill yourself doing everything right then chap on the next door neighbour's and say i do the rabbits for so and so and if youve done a good job he should have told his next door neighbours and mates then the permission snowballs Quote Link to post
