Problem with silencer

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Some how one of the springs inside of my silencer has been knocked out of shape.

I think that two pellets my have been loaded and shot at the same time when my son and his mates were plinking in the garden a couple of weeks back.

When I opened it up there were bits of lead stuck to the spring.

Anyway, does any one know if I can get a replacment spring, and if so where from. Or will I need to replace the whole unit?

Thanks for looking,

Mike.

You could simply remove the springs and add a few baffles, along with hair curlers (no I'm not being funny) and a pad of Scotchbright

Turns a reasonable silencer into a very good silencer :notworthy::notworthy:

There are a few threads on here about how we've done it.

this is the cheapest option and a good upgrade over the standard air arms silencer :boogie:
