Kay 3,709
Over time if you handle well & every day .. you will notice slight differences between all the jills for example.. things like tail length .. & general overall feel Some will be slightly bigger / heavier ... even down to the texture of the coats .. they will be all differnt use your hands to differentiate Quote Link to post

jac 12
try useing velcro cable ties, you can cut them to size and they come of if your ferret gets it caught on somthing. plus they are durt cheep and can eaven be used on the kits http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/coloured-hook-and-loop-straps-215mm.html Quote Link to post
The one 8,463
i tried permant marker on four albino jills when i took them out the box they where all the colours of the rainbow . Then i tried differnt coloured tape on there collars but if they dont lift there heads you cant see whos ,who .Get a pair of scissors and snip ones tail straight across snip a bit off another one between the shoulders ect and you will soon find out whos who .They will have differnt working styles anyway Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
I don't like to leave ferrets collared up - not safe. Shave a bit between shoulder blades or on tail. Quote Link to post
