what lamp to buy?

I was after a bit of advice on what lamp to get to put on my AA S410 CLASSIC,i will be lamping rats around the farm buildings as well as lamping rabbits.I was thinking about one of them logun lamps,any advice please bigeddie

deben mini pro with dimmer switch absolutely dogs danglies and about 115 pound not bad ideal for rats as you can turn the dimmer right down and then they get careless and pop out and away you go very good on bunnies aswell plus you can get diffrent lenses for them red,amber green yellow.

I use a deben tracer with red filter, best £ ive spent, had it 2 years now, not a thing gone wrong with it

[i got a logun gun lamp its ok for close stuff looks good does the job but its not the best i dont think

I got a logun and a deben , logun is ok for rats `n` stuff of the like , but the deben is better for rabbits , well i thnk so Can`t buy loguns new anymore so you might get one at the right price on bbs or auction site .

i use a clulite lazerlite and have recently fitted a dimmer switch as sometimes its just too powerfull.i dont think its the best lamp for guns but i use it with the dogs and i didnt want to have to buy more kit.it wasnt about the expense as all lamps are cheap enough but im starting to accumilate alot of gear due to doing several types of hunting with dogs and gun.

Deben Tracer Atom Pro 12v for me.The variable brightness giving you the best of both worlds, i also have the lamp attached to the scope via the alloy mount as i found the plastic mount a bit "snappy" when pushing it onto the scope.The Logun lamps have had a few mixed reviews but each to their own.....
