Apparently its a common practise along with thousands of pheasants that also end up being dumped and buried due to low demand .

Here`s your answer and maybe you`ll think before posting next time,

 

those hares were shot because it was part of the conditions of the lease from the farm and that pic is from the first day and was wrapped up by 1pm all hares went to the game dealer the following day was just as the previous day similar numbers etc and again no WASTE as the game dealer took them and as for what we shot the following year the bag was 300+ but we only shot one day as my shoulder was bruised...lol

and as for dogmen vs shooters, f**k me its been done to death. at the end of the day, one field sport to the next, were all in the same boat and we all do it for a reason. theres never going to be a repeal when people that should be on the same side are fighting with each other !!

Thats a bit sad to hear a so called lurcher man saying he would be up for a day like that slaughtering the ultimate running quarry if its all about killing you would be better off takeing up shooting.

No, I wouldn't.

 

My brother is a keeper and when his headkeeper told him to flatten the brown hares on the estate (of which there are pleanty) and he could keep any money he got from the game dealer (abour £4 a hare) he was told to go and f**k himself.

 

Some sportsmen have principles.

 

I have mine.

 

As Goliath said hares were born to run and lurchers were born to course - and although it's illegal in the eyes of the law it aint to many decent honerouble sportsmen including myself.

 

I am not going to take the bait, as I know chimp put this up to deliberately provoke a reaction...so Ill leave it at that.

 

Each to their own, and I would never knock another mans sport.
