CorkyJohn 808
FTB you're full of shit, the headkeeper would've finished him on the spot. Unless he had something on the headkeeper, was he gonna grass him for killing birds of prey? Just wondering if grassing ran in the family? Link to post
FightTheBan 1,147
and the farmer has damaged crops (you said yourself there was plenty) , at least he got his sport lol now why dont i believe you ??? There are no crops and the farmers don't give a shit otherwise they would be gone long before. Some farmers can appreciate wildlife aswell and not just shoot it because it's there. FTB Link to post

The underkeeper is there to learn and do what he is instructed, if he chooses not to then its out the door. Up to him then to pick morals or wages. Link to post

camelion 4
They shoot hares here to stop dickheads in 4x4's ripping up the land to run their dogs, because dogmen do more damage to the land than hares, and you only have your selves to blame. Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
still no answer then , and what was you doing at a hare shoot? That is an answer. And an acurate one too. It would be foolosh of me to say 'yes they were a pest' when in fact there were three teams of guns out lamping them. Who knows. And, I was working. FTB Link to post
chimp 299
what has the amount of guns got to do with it ??? it is pest control not a paid shoot Right a bit of history about that pic the land they was shot on has large numbers of the scabby things the farmer has huge contracts worth many thousands of £££ and the shoot that leases that land at a cost of £35,000 per year has to control them if the farmer requests it, the pic was taken febuary 2008 and at that date it was illegal to cull them with dogs (we had people willing to pay for the pleasure of killing hares with dogs from this country and abroad) We used to catch hares up in norfolk and send them up north you could catch over 500 in a day and that was done every year so reducing the numbers by large amounts never made a an impact to the population didnt you read this ?
