jpt 284
What is the best coat on a terrier? My mate is illergic to wirey coats so which would be best for him because he is thinking about a pup? I told him to get a smooth coat Russel or Fell terrier but what do you lot recomend? Also which lines should he be looking for if he wants a good dog? We have permission to dig you see so it needs to do the job, does that mean no Plummers!? Cheers JPT Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
If he is allergic to wire haired dogs, then he ain't got much choice :11: As for lines, see who has got dogs that are regularly dug to regardless of breed and wait for a pup from them or close lines. Quote Link to post
Guest Dillon
As a rule I would steer well clear of the Plummers as a digging dog, if you want something just for rats or bushing a Plummer may well do you. Smooth coated patt type may suit you or a russell if you can find them, keep your eyes and ears open on the sites someone may well be selling pups soon. Cheers Dillon Quote Link to post
