lurchermania 25 Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 ok so i have had a good few dogs and all of them have been prety good rabbiters and i have a beddy grey what makes other dogs look fkn stupid.what i am asking is what cross do you run on the rabbits and how good is it realy no lies i willl go first . Beddy grey demolishes nearly all dogs when it comes to the rabbbits but struggling a bit with the retrieve . pure grey good on the rabbits turns well but not the best Quote Link to post

stomdog 2 Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 The best dog ive seen on rabbits both day and night time was a mates mongrel that he saved from being drowned as a pup. It was 21tts and had some collie in it but other than that we dont know what else was in it but it didnt matter as it allways caught consistenly but sadly she died late last year aged 18 Quote Link to post

poacherman 353 Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 (edited) ive got a saluki grey whippet grey and she done great on her first season, worked well with the spaniel while i was out bushing and was great on bolted rabbits aswell aswell. got her into the lamp aswell and doing good aswell. she going to make a great allround rabbiting dog but she will do well in big parks aswell atb poacherman Edited July 7, 2010 by poacherman 1 Quote Link to post
