When you whack your woodie, dont try to carry it by the tail feathers

 

For preperation, simply pluck the breast of feathers, then cut the breast from the where it joins the wing; then stick your knife (or stick) into the bird at the top of the breast to make a hole.

 

Finally; stick your finger into the hole, hook it under the breast-bone and pull the breast right off the bird. Pop meat into a plastic bag and dispose of the rest of the bird.
