just thought the same as bigadg ,what length is the barrel must be one hell of a length as the t-8 slides down the barrel ,The moderator definitely makes a difference ,you can spot your shot's as well as reducing the report

hi foxshot thats the problem i had when i got my t8 very front end heavy so i got 4" chopped off it , and now its balanced to perfection, and it still shoots quarter " at 200yds , as for the green t8 special ordered from over the pond mate top notch ;) remmy.

quarter at 200 is good accuracy i take it you homeload ,i have the problem of my remi being front heavy ok while shooting with my buddy but bloody hard work when alone, you will have found a big diference in report with the moderator ,especialy on your 243 ,it was a friend that showed me his 243 with and without the T-8 and it had to be heard to be beleived ,that made my mind up for me got one fitted to the remi ,all the best luck on the lamping

foxshot theres no report at all the great thing is you can see the reaction of the deer when shot through the scope, its like shooting an air gun a pussy cat, you can also hear the bullet hit the beast its sort of a twack sound i wouldnt shoot anything without my t8 best bit of kit ever, apart from my nightforce of course, your right foxshot i do home load wouldnt put factory shite threw my gun its crap. rgds remmy :D

I know what you mean about the lenght of the gun with the silencer on it i thought i would of had problems with it being to long but found that it didnt cause a problem as most shots will be taken of the bipod or shooting sticks, the balance of the gun feels fine to me so i see no need to shorting it :good:

The thing is with modoraters to remember is that they are still very noisey infront of the rifle.I didnt realise this until i was up the estate a couple of years ago and my mate was zeroing his 22.250 with his new t8 fitted.when i was stood with him the gun seemed much quieter then i had to go check some fox wires in a wood about a mile away and generally in the direction he was shooting.I had to phone him on his mobile because i couldnt believe he still had the mod fitted and how loud the rifle was.The mod was still on the rifle.

The main reason for a mod is for ear protection.(just a point of interest lads ;) )
