ryan.yeo 0
Does anybody know if the macwet winter shooting gloves are waterproof, ( & warm in cold weather!) they look nice and slim for comfortable shooting and all reviews say how good the grip is when wet but nothing on if they are waterproof. Hob&Jill 258
Ive got a pair of macwet gloves and think they are excellent. I hate gloves normally but you dont even notice they are on they fit so well, I wear them ferreting all the time, great around nettles, hawthorn etc. They are not waterproof but rain etc ive never noticed my hands are wet, and they dry out very quickly from body heat. As I said I normally hate any gloves but these really are good if anyone is thinking about getting some. They come in sizes like 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5 etc....so you can get them to fit just right. They are not massively warm but take all the windchill off and always keep my hands warm.. atb, HJ Quote Link to post
ryan.yeo 0
I know what you mean I don't normally like gloves but sometimes you need them. I have a pair of neoprene barbours at the mo but they are not the best. I do like the look of the macwets but I wanted something that is warm & waterproof. The other gloves I am looking at are the musto game shooters. Nice gloves although the macwets do look so much better Quote Link to post
trappa 518
Just adding my tuppence, i use cycling gloves quite a lot. I used to use neoprene and sometimes still do if its freezing but cycling gloves keep the wind out, are "sort of" waterproof and are very cheap. Quote Link to post
Hob&Jill 258
The trouble with warm and waterproof is in my experience it also meens big and clumsy. They are warm to a point, a lot warmer than bare hands! I dont really suffer from cold hands though so I might not notice it as much. Quote Link to post
