ace32 4 Posted July 6, 2010 Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 same as me the hanging strips,feed just enough meat and dry mix in the morn and again last thing at night,try not to leave any meat in the court during the day,check the bed box as the buggers like to hide it all over,espcially as they dont eat as much at the mo,with it being so warm,keep the court cleaned out every day,spray down with disinfectant,at the toilet area,daily,not a lot else you can do,bstd flies,ok,ian Quote Link to post

lurcher lass 9 Posted July 8, 2010 Report Share Posted July 8, 2010 i hate these bloody flies i've been cleaning their toilet areas twice daily, feeding their meat in the late evening just before it gets dark and cleaning any left overs out in the morning, feeding their beaten egg during the day whilest supervised, removing dishes afterwards, will be popping some dry food into the pregnant jills too so she can store some food to snack on between her egg and meat,, fly strips are a good idea, anyone got any others lurcher lass x x x Quote Link to post

I got fly ridden gunk stuck all over my hair. Jaysus what a mess Still, it gave my hubby a laugh, the barsteward ! Quote Link to post

Nobby 65 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 I use old coffee jars put a small fly size hole in the lid 1/4 fill with water then add a small amount of something smelly like fish or dog food i use a bit minced tripe works a treat .The jar will soon fill up with flies Quote Link to post
