IMPORTANT - Today's Daily Mail 5th July

Recommended Posts

It was reported in today's Daily Mail (and possibly elsewhere)that a fox was seen to attack and kill a small family pet dog in broad daylight at Poole in Dorset. Our opponents constantly spread the myth and would have the general public believe that foxes pose no threat to pets or livestock. Whereas we all know the real truth on that score.

I would very much like to get my hands on a copy in order that we might use it as part of our display on the NWTF stand and elsewhere. If anyone has a copy in good condition (please don't fold it) give me a PM.

Many thanks - Barrie

The dogs owners are probably lucky the fox didn't choke on it, the police and rspca would be dragging them off to court by now!!

Joking apart, if you saw some of the responses which the animal rights brigade (aka fanatics & nutters) are posting on the related news threads it's unbelievable. Everything from "It's a plot by the Countryside Alliance to bring back fox hunting" to "The owners should take better care of their pets and not allow them to run loose in their own back gardens" :wallbash: .

In my "youth" (about 2 decades before the Ark was built) we regularly used to get calls from local authorities to deal with problem foxes in urban areas. The "politically correct" brigade gradually wittled away at that over the years.... and we're now seeing the results of their actions.

It's important such lies are exposed for what they really are, and that the general public are kept informed and constantly reminded of the kind of damage and mayhem which an out of control fox population can create.
