Yep, you're right. I've known the fella and family a lot longer fella and I can tell you that the man's got time for anyone who visits. He's a top bloke. Looking forward to seeing the pack go well this year now a new huntsman is in place. Edmund's wife is poorly at the moment so all his time will be spent nursing her. Blitz, perhaps you stood on his toe as he was passing. Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Right. Yer i heard Edmunds name as master of hounds, never met the guy though. Fancy telling me why he's a tit? PM if you like. I really want to come up and hunt with one of the foot packs up here. . . . actually went to Coniston today, drove about the area a bit but didnt spot the kennels. I know a lot of the packs up here have had land problems following the ban as most of the land they used to hunt is national trust / forestry commission land which is now out of bounds . . . . . right mate were do i start.he hates anyone else who has terriers or hunts near him he thinks every fox belongs to him.and basically he is a sour old trout.coniston has a better crowd better terrain and you would get a go with your terrier.my opinion anyway and prop a lot of local lads Sounds to me like he takes his hunting serious which is one of the trademarks of a good huntsman. dytkos 17,783
I agree with Hedz, been out with most of the Fell packs many years ago. The Legendary Johnny Richardson was Master of Blencathra when I first went and Barry was whip. Went last time about 10 years ago, Barry has had an incredible life with what the've all gone through. Total respect. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
Bootsha 1,306
Went up for a few days hunting a few years ago, Went with a couple of the packs there, thoroughly enjoyed the company, hunting and the scenery. Well worth the trip up. Note to self : MUST GO AGAIN: Quote Link to post
