some dog owners

i do alot of work for a large estate painting houses mainly we had to do one of the keepers houses last week and he has got three terriers in a run every day we went in they had know water in there bowl so we filled it so they could have a drink

the keeper goes out at 5:00 am and dont come back till the afternoon when he noticed we had given the dogs the water he was not happy he said could we leave them alone

poor dogs did he expect them to have no water in the hot wether we had last week

 

was there a reason he left them dry i dont think that there is eny good reason do you if there is please tell

no excuses but im affraid theres a few that just cant be bothered..were the runs clean?

mabye they were tipping the bowl over but then if that were the case he should have secured the bowl someway

 

i think you should have aproched him first to make him aware of this if there was still no change then by all means give them some water people can be very funny about strangers getting invovled with thire dogs

i forgot to say i would have given them a drink then aproched him to make sure he knew

the run kennels were spotless as are all of his kennels and the dogs look well cared for the three labs and 2 springers all had water just cant see why the terriers didint i can understand it one day perhaps but not every morning though still not right

 

 

the bowl was fixed to the run so was not knocked over

probably just an ignorant prik but; i wouldnt like anyone near my animals or offering them food without asking me first- i have heard of dogs being drugged or poisoned by jealous rivals, and i also have a neighbour that stole my pet goat by luring him over the fence with feed, as for giving a dog water- i would be guilty of doing that myself.

i see what you mean would not have fed them or done enything else either but as you say they need water espicaly in that heat

If Id seen them without water I would give em some no matter what .If they had been my dogs and you gave em water if they had drunk it all Id have said thanks mate ,but there are some strange people about

i suppose its possible the dogs dirty the water by pissing in it so the man restricts when he waters them..

i dont know but considering the runs were clean,the dogs were in good health and looked well cared for plus all the others had water,there may be a reason behind it.
