Marksman 934 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Share Posted July 4, 2010 Good morning, good afternoon or good evening, whichever it is when you are reading this...... well it all started when I got a text off wor kid....."R we out tonight??" I'd had a sh*t day and was really tired and told him "not tonight for me mate....knackered!" Sat for a while(10 mins!)got an urge from somewhere, dunno where and called him back saying "What time??" "I'll be at yours for around midnight!" he said....... Finally at 0145hrs we left mine and headed off arriving at the ground at about 0205hrs, zeroed then split up........ Now we've been taking a leaf out of Davy's book and got ourselves a set of 2 way radios....(Morrisons...£23.99 )so anyway, the radio goes....wor kid... "This newly cut field is crap, they can hear you coming for miles crunching the stubble underfoot" so I hopped the fence into the "permission next door" and slotted one bugger straight away a nice 37m shot...as we made our way round the paddocks keeping in contact we finally met back at the pickup at 0415 with 9 fat bunnys, myself getting 5 and wor kid 4. He'll post the pics up when he gets on as I've gone into the nasty habit of leaving my phone at home when going out. Not bad for a couple of hours mooch....sometimes you just hit on lucky, tonight was one of those nights! Darryl 2 Quote Link to post

Shame about the deedulldeedul.....poor olds bug's must have thought Avon was calling.
