cool idea for ferrets

a little idea to help keep u ferrets cool in this hot weather. any one else got a good way to keep them cool and have pic?

I get a large, shallow storage container and sit it on bricks in their court, one brick supporting each corner. Then fill it up with water. The gap between the floor and the bottom of the elevated tub stays quite cool and the ferts all hang out under there when it's warm, best thing I ever thought up for them. If its real hot I tip a bag of ice in the tub, they love it.

 

If you use this make sure the ferts can climb out of the tub if they decide to go for a swim, especially kits.

. as you can see it has a shallow end that then can sit at plus the water is only about 2inch deep . and that is also a great idea , think i may have to get storage container as well thanks

I use a beer tray, and my ferrets just run through it
