I would prefare a lurcher bud, simply because i started with lurchers and lamping was my thing, got into ferreting after that ,still cant take ferreting seriously enough, shit maybe im not the right guy to answer this,,one thing i know ,, you will catch more with a running dog,,

Its a lurcher everytime for me,terrier's are a pain in the ar*e,all they want to do is get down the hole and kill everything,I use 2 lurcher's,1 each side of the hedge in case anything slips past the nets,with a little bit of patience and training you soon become a good team,atb,wirralman
