Lamping Last Night

Had a walk out with the lamp last night with gingerbob of here. We took his 11 month old Bull/Greyhound x Saluki/Greyhound and my Saluki lurcher bitch. The plan was to give the pup a watch at a few runs and maybe a run if a close slip wa available.

The weather wasn't great with little wind (only in gusts) and i think every star in the sky was out, but we went on anyway and i managed 8 runs with my bitch of which she caught 5 and he let his pup have 3 runs, he missed his first 2 really unlucky not to connect but picked up his 3rd and brought it back with a good steady retrieve Hopefully the dog will progess well now

The hare was in the field at the side of the van and a good long range shot with the airgun and my bitch allowed to retieve it :whistle:
